Stages of work

Requirements analysis and audience research. At the start of the project, we studied the target audience, behavioral scenarios of convenience store customers, and client requirements. This became the basis for all subsequent decisions — structural, design, and technical.

Sitemap and site structure design. We developed a sitemap and, together with the client, agreed on the structure, number of pages, and content distribution. The site structure included the main page, food and beverage catalog, promotional section with subpages (leaflet, “Cheaper Together,” “Get More,” sets, new products), news, services, about us, cooperation, contacts, and interactive market search.

Wireframing. We created highly detailed wireframes for each type of page — in order to take into account all elements and details at the design stage and avoid changes during design and layout.

UX/UI design. We integrated all developments and created a full-fledged interface. The design is focused on a fast and convenient user experience. Since more than 56% of visitors come from mobile devices, special attention was paid to adaptability and convenience on small screens.

Adaptive cross-browser layout. All pages and components of the site were adapted in accordance with the approved design with a permissible deviation of no more than 10%. The layout works correctly in all major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, IE) and on all platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux) both in the desktop and mobile versions.

Adapted pages and blocks: header and footer; main page with banners, tabs, promo slider, banner grid, video presentation, services block, social networks and the "Find us" block; category pages with a product grid and pagination; promo pages (postcard, new products, sets, promotions); news page with a grid and pagination and a separate news with a banner, slider, text, photo grid and recommendation block; Tosim page with banners and FAQ; services and contacts with modal windows; "Find a market" page with search and filters.

Backend development on CMS. We developed a separate theme and templates for all types of pages and content blocks (header, footer, pages, categories, products, news, new products, banners) - so that all content can be created and edited through the admin panel without the participation of developers. We connected contact forms, modal windows and sliders.

A separately implemented store catalog: each market is added through the admin panel and automatically appears on the interactive map. The assortment of stores is linked to products, which ensures the operation of filters on the map.

Testing. We conducted full testing of all pages and functional elements of the site before submitting the project.

Result

The customer received a full-fledged site, developed from scratch for the specifics of a convenience store chain. The site is adapted for mobile devices and is correctly displayed in all major browsers and operating systems.

Thanks to the CMS solution, the client can independently manage all content - add news, update promotions and promotions, maintain a product catalog - without involving developers. The store catalog is integrated with an interactive map: new locations are added through the admin panel and immediately appear on the site with support for filtering by assortment.
