Project Description

About the project

Tataki is a food delivery network in Bila Tserkva: sushi, pizza and other dishes. This is a comprehensive long-term project that has gone through a full cycle: from website development from scratch to SEO promotion and running advertising campaigns in Google Ads. The site was developed as a full-fledged platform for online orders with a personal account, loyalty program and internal dashboard for administrators.

Website development

Design

The main task of the site is to allow the client to view the menu, add dishes to the cart, choose an institution, specify the delivery address and pay for the order online. Based on this, we designed an interface focused on quick and convenient order placement.

The developed screens cover all key scenarios of user interaction with the site:

  • header and footer;
  • home page;
  • login pop-up, authorization, registration, password recovery and order confirmation pop-ups;
  • drop-down menu, list of product categories, promotional offers, delivery terms, contacts, vacancies, blog, news;
  • category page with a list of dishes;
  • shopping cart (without authorization and after authorization);
  • order processing page;
  • personal account: personal data, password change, order history, favorite dishes, personal offers.

Layout

The site was developed in accordance with the approved design with a permissible deviation of no more than 10%. The layout is adaptive and cross-browser - correctly displayed in Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, IE and other common browsers, as well as on MacOS, Windows and Linux in both desktop and mobile versions.

Backend

The backend part of the site is a full-fledged platform for an online food delivery business. Implemented:

Order and payment system. Online payment via LiqPay. Cart with selection of the establishment and delivery address. Dashboard of current orders for administrators with information about the time, amount, contact details of the customer and the performer, with the ability to sort by cuisine.

Loyalty program and promotions. Discount and bonus program with support for card discounts and special rates for staff. Automatic promotions: "1+1" on sushi at a certain time of day, "-50% on every second pizza", "2+1" on cocktails.

Personal user account. Change and restore password, fill in the delivery address and personal data, order history with statuses, list of favorite dishes, personal and general promotional offers. Authorization via Google and Facebook.

Administrative panel. Two roles: main administrator (full management of the menu, pages, promotions, news, vacancies, personal offers, statistics) and kitchen administrator (viewing and changing the status of orders, editing orders manually, comments to customers).

SEO tools. Automatically updated XML sitemap. Ability to edit meta tags (title, h1, description, alt, image title) on all pages, including filter pages. Text fields for section pages. Automatic formatting of images when loading.

SEO promotion

SEO promotion began after the site development was completed. At the start, Tataki already had good positions for sushi queries — most of the key phrases were in the TOP-10. However, about half of the phrases from the semantic core that we compiled were completely outside the TOP-100 and did not bring any traffic. The first step was to optimize meta tags and write texts for the site pages.

At the same time, Tataki expanded the range: pizza was added to sushi. If the starting positions for sushi were satisfactory, then pizza had to be promoted practically from scratch — 80% of key phrases had no positions in the search, the rest were behind the TOP-30.

Positions for sushi and sets

By the 5th month of promotion, 48% of key phrases for sushi reached the TOP-1, another 25% — in the TOP-2-3.

Main page positions

At the beginning of the promotion, most of the main page key phrases were outside the TOP-100. By the end of the promotion, the picture had changed dramatically: 66% of the phrases entered the TOP-10, of which 18% were in the TOP-1, 18% in the TOP-2-3, 24% in the TOP-4-5 and 6% in the TOP-6-10.

Pizza positions

By the 5th month of promotion, 41% of pizza key phrases were already in the TOP-10. And after the end of active promotion, the positions continued to grow independently. As of April 2026, 78% of pizza keywords are in the TOP-10: 4% in the TOP-1, 22% in the TOP-2-3, 26% in the TOP-4-5, 26% in the TOP-6-10.

Now Tataki is competing for TOP-1–3 positions for pizza queries, and for some of them it already occupies the first place and is included in Google AI Overview answers.

Overall position dynamics

The overall visibility of the site increased by 4.87% and is 11.85%. Average position is 3.3. Of the 84 tracked key phrases: 20 in TOP-1, 21 in TOP-2-3, 9 in TOP-4-5, 8 in TOP-6-10.

Organic traffic dynamics

From October 2025 to February 2026, organic search provided 9,461 users, 16,956 sessions, and 12,528 sessions with interaction (73.89% engagement). In December, there was a surge in activity due to the New Year holidays, but the overall growth dynamics are stable throughout the period.

Compared to the same period last year (October 2024 - February 2025), the number of purchases from organic search increased by 29%, conversion - by 29.41%, and total revenue from organic traffic increased by 52.87%.

Google Ads

In parallel with SEO, we set up and monitor advertising campaigns in Google Ads. We are working on several types of campaigns: search (including set campaigns), Performance Max, demand generation campaigns (mini-pizza, soups, noodles).

For October 2025 - February 2026, general account indicators:

  • impressions - 1,313,559;
  • cliques - 75,216;
  • conversions - 2,335;
  • conversion rate is 3.07%.

Result

Takakas received a website with a full functionality of online orders, a loyalty program and tools for independent management of content and promotions. After the launch of the site, they consistently built an organic presence in the search: most of the key phrases are in the TOP-3, the site is listed in Google AI Overview, and the organic income per hour increased by 53%. At the same time, Google Ads advertising campaigns provide an additional stable flow of orders.
